BSc Nursing Graduates- Apply for Jobs Abroad

In order to qualify to work with O’Grady-Peyton International, you must have at least one year of acute care nursing experience. If you do not already have a US state nursing license, you must sit and pass the US licensing exam: NCLEX.
With regards to sitting the NCLEX exam, you must first apply to a board of nursing in the US for approval to take the test.

You may try applying with the Vermont Board of Nursing as the requirements are less bothersome than other states. On the Board’s website: http://vtprofessionals.org/opr1/nurses/international_nurses.asp
you will find the application forms and instructions, fees, etc, for international applicants.

For more information about the NCLEX exam please visit: http://vue.com/nclex/ which will give information about the test itself, scheduling, testing locations information for international nurses, etc.
OGP has excellent NCLEX Online prep courses from Drexel University that help RNs prepare to take the NCLEX exam for a US nursing license. If you are interested, just go to www.ogpacademy.com to review the courses listed and you can select and purchase the one that best suits you.

Additionally, a study text that you can purchase online or at a bookstore (reputable brands include Saunders Comprehensive NCLEX Review and Kaplan's brand texts); will also be very helpful.
Please note that the USCIS is currently processing 2004 applications for most applicants at this time. For this reason, we are currently only accepting new applicants who already have a US work permit, green card or green card application in process. Hopefully, by next year we may resume filing for new applicants, so please keep in contact with us for any changes in our recruitment policy.
