SCH: Supreme Council of Health Qatar

SCH was established in 2009 under the Guidance of his highness , The Emirate of Qatar.
It was given responsibilities to guide reform in qatar.
The role of SCH is to create a :
1) clear vision for nations health direction
2) set goals & objectives for the country
3) design policies to achieve the vision
4) regulate the medical landscape and
5) to protect the publics health.

Another key SCH function is oversight of the quality and effectiveness of service delivered by primary care and hospital and other public and private sector health service providers to ensure that standards are met and performance targets achieved.
